OMG

'Tis no longer the season for the huge, blown out fashion event. We're well aware of that, but what we didnt expect was for this to be one of the most colorful and exciting fashion weeks yet. So, fine there's no complimentary car service, but our schedule is jam packed with cocktail receptions. Designer collections are debuted over dinner or drinks, and our schedule resembles that of a well-seasoned socialite. First there's Sam Ronsons collection debut at the Eldridge, Pat Field's birthday party, and the longchamp s/s 09 in-store show fully catered and providing swag. We're channeling Paris Hilton pre-sex tape, LiLo pre-drug habit. The fashion industry feels young again, and we do too!

What's even better, each invite-only event promises to be intimate, with fewer than 100 guests to air kiss. this makes for better conversation and a hands-on fashion experience. Anyway, the tought of talking workshop over a glass of champagne makes the front row feel stuffy. You can keep your seat Nina Garcia, but we'll see you at the afterparty.
